One of the smartest things you can do to save money on travel
Everyone, no matter how much money you have, wants to save money. This is especially true when travelling. You want to save money so you can travel for longer periods of time, more often…or both.
One way to save is to sign up for travel newsletters through their websites. Sign up for airlines, travel companies, cruise companies and even local tour companies in the places you want, or are going, to travel to. Companies like to give discounts to their community, or will tell their community about an upcoming sale before it goes public. End of season sales, flash sales, new products and coupon codes will all be sent to your inbox instead of having to constantly look back on their sites or missing out.
I would recommend that you sign up for a new email address through websites like gmail or hotmail and use it to sign up for the newsletters so your daily personal inbox does not get cluttered up with all the travel emails. If you do not want to have another email address, create a folder in your personal email labeled “travel newsletters” and pull them into that folder as they come in.
The deals and sales usually don’t last long so be prepared to jump on it and book it as soon as possible to secure it. Once you have it booked, then you can make the plans around it. This money saving technique is great for trips you are planning as well as spur of the moment travel, and both are equally exciting.
