How to find free things to do on your trip
When you are travelling, you don’t have to spend a fortune to see amazing things and have amazing times. To fill in between your must see paid places; look for some free things to do where you are.
There are a couple different ways to find things that are free and interesting where you are. The first place I always go to is Google. What I search for is pretty straight forward: “free things to do in (what ever city you are in)” Look for some interesting blog posts that are within the past year.
Pinterest is also a perfect place to search. I search the same thing as in Google as this will pull up different results. I look through a number of different blogs and see what they have on their list, and also what they thought of it.
Lastly I also go to tourism sites for the city and country you are going to. On here they may have listings for free things to do (usually walking tours) and free events that are going on while you are there.
You can also add to your search, instead of
“free things to do” you can search “cheap things to do”. This will also produce
some great results that are not expensive and you can usually come across a
number of interesting things that not everyone does. Happy hunting! 😀 When you are planning your trip, I want to make sure you have everything in place. I created a FREE Travel Checklist, where I tell you the Top 10 things you must do before you take your next trip.
